Playing with textures

I took a break from proofing pictures to play around with textures and borders. Here is one that I came up with. I am still new to doing this, so I have a lot to learn.

I think that it came out good. This is one of my fave photos. If you look at my first post you will see the image without texture. It does look better a little larger, so click it to see!

The Boys

Birthday Boy

I had the pleasure of photographing a darling little boy today! His first birthday is tomorrow!! He has the most magnificant brown eyes. They are mesmerizing.

Christmas sessions with my niece

Today I had a session with another niece!! It turned out that my Sister-in-law purchased the matching dress to my son's outfit, all by coincidence!! They looked like an advertisement, it was so darn adorable!!

Autumn Love

Hi all, Today I totally did something different. I photographed adults! It really is refreshing once in awhile to photograph subjects that understand and take direction. Not, that I would change from taking children's photographs ever... I just love that. Call it a great break!

Today, I had a couple that made it very easy for me to photograph. The colors are bursting here, which is so appropriate!! It was overcast and chilly, which actually works great with the Autumn colors.

Family Christmas Shoot

Christmastime is approaching quickly! And with that time, comes Christmas photo shoots. Yesterday we spent time doing photos of my son, my niece and my sister's family. We took lots of pictures, so I will be doing lots of work on them this week.

Halloween Belated

So, I am a little behind on this post! Since we were taking Christmas photo's today, we thought it would be great to capture a few of my son and niece in their Halloween costumes! It was a great idea, because these pictures are just classic! They are too cute for words, these two children.

Back in Session

Well, I am back in session. This is a busy weekend. Three sessions in three days!! One being a full day session with my son and niece...exhausting, but really loads of fun! But, I will start with my first session of the weekend!

I got to photography my friend's son! He is exactly two weeks older than my boy and such a sweet little guy! We have been getting our boys together since they were just 2 months old and they really are little buds now! It was a great session, and I hope she loves the pics. Here are a few shots that I have processed so far!! There are a bunch more, but I will save that for later!
